Make the most of your photos and set your memories free
A couple of weeks ago we invited you to test out our new design studio, which has transformed the way you can create A4 Personalised Photobooks.
Launching the new studio and our Book of Wonders got us chatting in the office about the hundreds of reasons there are to create photobooks. So hot on the heels of this conversation we’re launching our ‘Do it with a Photobook’ page so we can share all the great ideas with you.
For those of you who’ve never created a photobook, this new page shows you how quick, easy and effective they are. If on the other hand you’re a photobook expert, we’re sure you’ll be inspired to create even more photobooks, especially with Christmas just around the corner. Photobooks really are the perfect Christmas present, even for those impossible to buy for people who seem to have everything.
Now’s the time to discover all the reasons to Do it with a Photobook!

Will we be able to use the new design studio to create A3 Personalised Photobooks in the near future? I find the new design studio offers so many more options and am waiting for you to make this available for the large photobooks. Will I have to wait long?
The total concept is superb. However, I have been trying to complete several albums for months and your site still does not save all my creations so farewell, i am just too frustrated to continue and am going to use another company!!
Hi Lucy, thanks for your comments on the blog. We are planning to release the new design studio on all photo book creations at the end of november, when we do, you’ll be the first to know. Let me know if you have any other questions. Many thanks.

One thing I am using photobooks for is photoblogging. Overkill? Maybe. But maybe not – when I want the pictures on photobox anyway. Why not use albums? Layout and treatment of captions very restrictive. Why not use the Tableau feature from Quomodo that Photobox offers? It doesn’t seem to do access control. (More precisely – if you password protect the album the Tableau uses as picture source, Tableau falls over with a polite message about not being able to ‘presently display this blog’. And if you unprotect the album, it works again without a whimper.) What are the disadvantages of using Photobooks for Photoblogging? One obvious thing that doesn’t fit is the set-in-stone minimum number of pages. Puzzled family members wonder why most of the pages at the end are blank….;-)
Just received my first Photobook – the concept , service and the turnaround are all great.
I have to say thought that, if I am honest ,I am disappointed in the photo quality. We are advised that the printed verison is much better than on the screen, and it is – generally. However the Photobook prints are hugely inferior to the same original files I print on my EPSON Sx200. They are no better than average glossy magazine pictures an d in some cases inferior.
Are these comments reasonable or am I expecting too much?
I have some minor niggles about creating photobooks on your site, is it possible to add these in the next set of improvements?
1) I use a photoshop template to create my pages for wedding albums etc, I would find it usefull to be able to make the book page layouts all the same with one click instead of a page at a time
2)I find it very frustrating not being able to see the file number of my pictures in any of the views available or even when hovering the mouse over an image. I tend to orgainise my files numerically but your system puts files in reverse order so lowest number is on RHS rather than LHS of album display.
